LTC Phillips commissioned through ROTC at the University of New Hampshire and began his Army career as an Infantry officer. He has served in airborne, Stryker, and special operations units, with assignments spanning more than a dozen U.S. states and over 30 countries. He has completed six combat deployments and one operational deployment to Poland, leading missions in complex environments across three continents. His leadership experience includes multinational training exercises throughout Europe and training special forces in Africa. LTC Phillips leverages this global experience to prepare cadets for the challenges of military leadership through hands-on training, academic excellence, and mentorship. He holds a Master’s in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College. As Professor of Military Science, he leads the Blue Mountain Battalion, mentoring cadets from Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and five partner campuses. He is passionate about developing future Army officers through challenging training, academic rigor, and leadership by example.

CPT Jansen commissioned through ROTC at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and began his Army career as an Ordnance officer and now serves as a Logistics officer. He has served in armor and airborne units, with assignments at Fort Riley, KS and Fort Bragg, NC. He has completed one operational deployment to the Republic of Korea. He holds a Master’s in Executive Leadership from Liberty University. CPT Jansen combines scholarly expertise with real-world experience to mentor and train the next generation of Army Officers. As an Assistant Professor of Military Science, he is the primary instructor for freshman and sophomore Military Science classes at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and Gettysburg College. CPT Jansen is dedicated to developing well-rounded Army officers through a curriculum that emphasizes discipline, critical thinking, and challenging training.
